Original Sprout Review

***I recieved this item for the purpose of a review. All opinions are my own and I was not compensated for this review. Your opinion may vary from mine.***

One of my favorite things about babies is their smell. I love to cuddle up with my daughter and just breathe in her scent, especially after bath time. Every time I go to the store to buy bath products for my daughter I have to smell all the products and I get extremely frustrated when I can't find a natural bath product that smells decent. I want my daughter to smell great but I also want a more natural product, especially since some have been known to cause cancer (or so they say). I live in a part of Ohio that isn't far (about an hour away) from a town with a huge unexplained cancer cluster problem found in children. That makes me very nervous! Even though we're an hour away from this town it still makes me think and worry about the well-being of my child. I could never in a million years imagine something happening to my precious baby girl. Something like that is seriously a mother's worst nightmare and I feel so deeply for any parent that has to ever go through something like that.

Recently I was given the opportunity to try out Original Sprout shampoo, conditioner, and detangler. I never sniffed the products before I gave my daughter a bath, so when I started washing her hair and got this whiff of smelly goodness, I almost jumped for joy. It is so hard to find natural bath products for babies that actually smell good but Original Sprout baby products smell absolutely wonderful! I washed my daughter's hair then conditioned it (even though I've never thought to put conditioner in her hair before). I thought for sure it would leave her hair feeling greasy but it didn't; her hair was just as soft as it usually is with no greasy feel to it.

The next night I gave my daughter a bath, I figured that I would use all three of the Original Sprout products I received. I thought to myself that if I used the detangler along with the conditioner, her hair will definitely come out greasy this time and possibly leave a nasty residue. Nope, didn't happen. Her hair came out beautiful and feeling healthy like usual with no residue or greasy feel to it. Not to mention the clean smell of her hair lasted for a couple days when normally the good smell only lasts for a day.

Original Sprout is a family-owned company that makes and provides safe, non-toxic, high-performance hair and skin care products for the whole family.Their all natural health and beauty products are free of soy, gluten, honey, peanut products, Phytoestrogens Lavender & Tea Tree, Phthalates, Clove, Nanoparticles, Titanium Dioxide, and Musk. They are also 100% vegan, cruelty free, and biodegradable with perfumes from natural extracts. With Original Sprout products you will never have to worry about lice and insects because all of their hair products have rosemary in them and bugs hate rosemary. Pretty awesome huh?

Want to know the best part about Original Sprout? The shampoo and conditioner isn't actually made just for babies. I had to actually look that up because I was sitting here one day thinking why in the world would a baby need conditioner for their hair? I guess I just kind of assumed it was for babies when I read on the bottle "Extra Gentle on Eyes" and "Quick and Easy Rinse" but apparently it's made for just about everyone. The gentle ph of their products is perfect for maintaining hair color and perfect for just about all hair types.

Original Sprout carries a great variety of health and beauty products for just about anyone, from sunscreen to Tahitian hair oils and styling products. The best assortment of Original Sprout seems to be for babies, however. Original Sprout even has baby products that are great for eczema and cradle cap.

The verdict you ask? I'm pretty sure the products sent were meant for me but I accidentally used them on my daughter which resulted in a great experience. I would definitely recommend Original Sprout to all my family, friends, and readers. Connect with Original Sprout on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date on the latest news and happenings!

Product Review for Pretzilla Pretzel Buns

So a couple of weeks ago my family and I decided to take a trip up to Whole Foods since we've never been to one and the only organic grocery store around here doesn't have a huge selection. We're walking through checking everything out and I came across these yummy looking soft pretzel buns. I have to say, the packaging is what really caught my eye but then I realized the buns didn't have salt on them so I was even more intrigued. We bought one package of the burger buns even though they were on sale 2 for $7. Two days later we decide to check them out. It wasn't until we had our sandwiches made that we realized they were moldy. We were completely bummed because this was something we've never tried before.

I went ahead and e-mailed the company Pretzilla to inform them of the mold, mind you it was the Saturday of memorial day weekend. I wasn't expecting a reply until at least Tuesday, but to my surprise, I was contacted back the following morning. The comp…

Rent College Textbooks and Save Up to 80%!

This is a "sponsored post." The company who sponsored it compensated me via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value.

I recently went back to college to work on my Bachelor of Science degree for Nutrition. It's been about 7 years since I've had to purchase college textbooks and let me tell you, the prices have gone up dramatically! I registered for a Sociology class but had to drop it because I couldn't afford the book which was $239! That's outrageous!  I understand that I could always sell the book back to the school at the end of the semester, but, you and I both know that the colleges only offer you a fraction of what you paid. Plus, there was no way I could afford that book on top of my $200 Statistics book, graphing calculator, and two other textbooks needed for classes.  I like to save as much money as possible, especially on things I'll only be using for a short time. This is exactly why I'm using for the other two …
