Original Sprout Review

One of my favorite things about babies is their smell. I love to cuddle up with my daughter and just breathe in her scent, especially after bath time. Every time I go to the store to buy bath products for my daughter I have to smell all the products and I get extremely frustrated when I can't find a natural bath product that smells decent. I want my daughter to smell great but I also want a more natural product, especially since some have been known to cause cancer (or so they say). I live in a part of Ohio that isn't far (about an hour away) from a town with a huge unexplained cancer cluster problem found in children. That makes me very nervous! Even though we're an hour away from this town it still makes me think and worry about the well-being of my child. I could never in a million years imagine something happening to my precious baby girl. Something like that is seriously a mother's worst nightmare and I feel so deeply for any parent that has to ever go through something like that.


Recently I was given the opportunity to try out Original Sprout shampoo, conditioner, and detangler. I never sniffed the products before I gave my daughter a bath, so when I started washing her hair and got this whiff of smelly goodness, I almost jumped for joy. It is so hard to find natural bath products for babies that actually smell good but Original Sprout baby products smell absolutely wonderful! I washed my daughter's hair then conditioned it (even though I've never thought to put conditioner in her hair before). I thought for sure it would leave her hair feeling greasy but it didn't; her hair was just as soft as it usually is with no greasy feel to it. 

The next night I gave my daughter a bath, I figured that I would use all three of the Original Sprout products I received. I thought to myself that if I used the detangler along with the conditioner, her hair will definitely come out greasy this time and possibly leave a nasty residue. Nope, didn't happen. Her hair came out beautiful and feeling healthy like usual with no residue or greasy feel to it. Not to mention the clean smell of her hair lasted for a couple days when normally the good smell only lasts for a day.
