This review was made possible by Double Duty Divas and Pampers. I was provided the featured product free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% mine.
Recently, a friend from work had her second baby girl. She's a gorgeous baby but apparently cries a lot (always seems to be the second child that cries the most), so mommy and daddy haven't been getting much sleep. To top it off, Mommy came back to work after a week of giving birth and Daddy started a new job, therefore, their sleep has been really lacking. Thankfully, Pampers and Double Duty Divas gave me the opportunity to give back the gift of sleep to these two.
At first I couldn't really think of anything to help them out but then I started to remember how much I long for a night in with the hubby and no child. Those nights are very limited for new parents and I figured I would try to help them out a bit.
To get my gift of sleep started, Pampers and Double Duty Divas sent along a pack of Pampers' Baby Dry diapers, Pampers' Swaddlers diapers, and a $100 gift card. Pamper's Swaddlers were my favorite diapers when my daughter was a newborn. They're so soft and stretchy and they fit real nice on that tiny baby bottom. I also loved the Pampers' Baby Dry diapers as they seemed to tame down diaper rash and keep the baby's bottom dry.
For the gift basket I obviously chose a nice laundry basket because what mom doesn't always need a new laundry basket? I then lined the laundry basket with the most cozy blanket for mom I could find. I loaded the rest of the laundry basket with 2 boxes of popcorn, a bottle of wine, a stress relief facial mask, mud masks, a hot/cold eye mask, $25 gift card for takeout, a new candle, a neck wrap, a $15 gift card for Starbucks (because she loves the Refreshers), and Pampers' baby wipes.
Mommy was pretty excited when I handed her the laundry basket and explained to her what I was up to. It's such a great feeling to be able to give something back to a new mom and I really hope Mommy and Daddy get to utilize my gift of sleep soon! Thank you Pampers and Double Duty Divas for this wonderful opportunity!
