***I recieved this item for the purpose of a review. All opinions are my own and I was not compensated for this review. Your opinion may vary from mine.*** My dog, Karma, is a very special girl. Karma is a 3 1/2 year old American Mastiff that was born with a serious heart condition. At first the Veterinarians thought she just had a minor heart murmur, but after a visit to the doggie cardiologist all hope had vanished. She was basically diagnosed with heart failure because of how bad the condition of her heart was. Karma was given no more than 9 months to live; the doc's all figured her heart would give out before she made it to her first birthday. My heart was broken. Just two months earlier, my very best friend and first dog, Buster, had passed away from a stroke. He was only 5 years old and not a single person could tell me why he seemed to age so fast. So here I was, trembling from the thought of having to go through this all over again. Everyo...

Your opinion may vary from mine.** Herbal Essence has a new collection out called the Naked Collection Volume. Obviously I was intrigued by this because naked to me means no crazy chemicals and my hair loves products like those. I used to have very thick and healthy hair but it has thinned out dramatically since I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease over 5 years ago. Nowadays, my hair is very picky about the products I use. I wouldn't say it's damaged, it actually looks and feels pretty healthy, but it goes flat and becomes greasy quick because of how thin it is. Because of the autoimmune disease I have, I like to watch what kind of chemicals my body comes in contact with. Anything is mess up the balance in a compromised immune system. Needless to say, I was excited to learn more about the Naked Volume Collection by Herbal Essence.  The naked Naked ...

This review was made possible by  Double Duty Divas  and Pampers. I was provided the featured product free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% mine. Recently, a friend from work had her second baby girl. She's a gorgeous baby but apparently cries a lot (always seems to be the second child that cries the most), so mommy and daddy haven't been getting much sleep. To top it off, Mommy came back to work after a week of giving birth and Daddy started a new job, therefore, their sleep has been really lacking. Thankfully, Pampers and Double Duty Divas gave me the opportunity to give back the gift of sleep to these two.  At first I couldn't really think of anything to help them out but then I started to remember how much I long for a night in with the hubby and no child. Those nights are very limited for new parents and I figured I would try to help them out a bit.  To get my gift of sleep started, Pampers and Double Duty Divas sent along...

**I received this item for the purpose of a review. I was in no way compensated for my opinion as they are my own. Your opinion may vary from mine.** We received Disney's Super Buddies Blu-ray combo pack in the mail last week for review and I kid you not, it has to be played constantly while the child is awake. I'm pretty sure we have all seen Disney's Super Buddies over 20 times so far and at least 4 times today. It's a very cute movie and our daughter is OBSESSED with it! An ordinary day at Fernfield Farms turns extraordinary when Budderball, Mudbud, B-Dawg, Buddha, and Rosebud discover mysterious rings that grant them each a unique super power. The pups unleash their amazing abilities and race to the rescue when a shape-shifting bully from outer space threatens the planet.  I could tell you the whole story of Disney's Super Buddies but I wouldn't want to ruin it for you. The only part I wasn't a huge fan of was at the very end when you met a coup...

The first day of school is such a rush. You need to remember exactly what time to set the alarm, exactly when the bus is coming, and exactly what to pack for lunch. Wouldn't it be great to take one moment to just pause during the first day rush? Hallmark has come up with a way to do just that. Hallmark created the Pics ‘N’ Props School Days Activity Kit . The kit comes with a chalkboard your child can hold, with cards that read each grade level, from pre-school to graduation. You can take one photo on the first day of school each year, then place it in the accompanying album. You can also fill out a card that summarizes your child's school year with things from teachers' names to friends' names. This is such a sweet way to look back on your child's education.  Living Frugal with Erika had the chance to review the awesome and adorable Pics 'N' Props School Days Kit. Squashie-Dipity is joining with Living Frugal with Erika to give away this activity ki...
