Ozeri Green Earth Wok Review

I've been wanting a wok for a very long time and recently I was offered the chance to review one. I was pretty excited to receive my Ozeri Green Earth Wok and finally got the chance to use it just the other day. The first thing I noticed about the wok was how big it was (12" in diameter) and how thick the pan seemed. 
I didn't make stir-fry in it like I was originally going to because I was honestly so hungry that I just wanted something fast for breakfast and my Green Earth Wok was right there. I quickly made up some scrambled eggs and fried bologna. While using the Green Earth Wok, I realized that not much oil was needed to coat it because of the non-stick qualities. It's probably the best pan I've ever used when it comes to being non-stick. It was also extremely easy to clean since the food just slid right off under water. I love when I don't have to scrub at a pan for 15 minutes just to get all the gunk off.

The Ozeri Green Earth Wok uses Ecozeri which is a super safe 100% PTFE and PFOA free ceramic non-stick coating. PTFE, also known as PolyTetraFluoroEthylene, is proved to release toxic chemicals at high temperatures. PFOA, also known as PerFluoroOctanoic Acid, is being investigated by the EPA for being a known pollutant to the environment. Yikes! When I read that I kind of freaked out thinking that maybe I should just use my wok for everything from now on and get rid of all the other crappy pans in my cupboards or even purchase new pans from the Ozeri Green Earth line of products.  
The Ozeri Green Earth Wok is a great conductor of heat so it's recommended that you use a lower heat setting when cooking with this product to avoid burning. Food tends to cook faster with the Green Earth Wok, which is great for me since I'm so impatient when I'm cooking. Another pretty amazing spec about the wok is that it's made with a durable scratch resistant ceramic that is found in nature, making this wok even more earth friendly. The wok also has an oven-safe handle that can be used at temperatures up to 356 degrees Fahrenheit. Unbelievable! I've always wanted a pan that I can throw in the oven! (I'm serious)


 The verdict? I highly recommend the Ozeri Green Earth Wok for all your stove-top needs as it seems to get the job done without all the hassle. I absolutely loved it! To purchase Ozeri Green Earth products just look them up on Amazon.com.

Life has been anything but normal lately, in fact it's been nothing short of hectic! Herbal Essence Naked Volume Collection

Your opinion may vary from mine.** Herbal Essence has a new collection out called the Naked Collection Volume. Obviously I was intrigued by this because naked to me means no crazy chemicals and my hair loves products like those. I used to have very thick and healthy hair but it has thinned out dramatically since I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease over 5 years ago. Nowadays, my hair is very picky about the products I use. I wouldn't say it's damaged, it actually looks and feels pretty healthy, but it goes flat and becomes greasy quick because of how thin it is. Because of the autoimmune disease I have, I like to watch what kind of chemicals my body comes in contact with. Anything is mess up the balance in a compromised immune system.
