Hallmark Story Buddy Review and Giveaway!

Hallmark always has some of the best gifts for any occasion but I've had my eye on a Story Buddy for a while. I've wanted to get my daughter one from the moment she was born! For review purposes, I received Bigsby, the fun furry giant. Bigsby is a goofy looking stuffed animal that kind of reminds me of the giants in Where the Wild Things Are. Even though Bigsby is a giant he is actually quite shy. Bigsby enjoys going on fun adventures with his best friends and children love hearing Bigsby respond to them while reading about his awesome adventures. 
Bigsby responds to key words when read aloud from his interactive books, read-along CD, online story, and Best Friends app. Each Interactive Story Buddy has additional story books ($9.95) that can be bought separate from the original starter kit ($34.95), including Bigsby. The starter kits all come with a specific Hardcover book and read-along CD. Bigsby's book, Bigsby's Best Friend: Sam, is 32 pages long with gorgeous vibrant illustrations. 

 

 Bigsby's Best Friend: Sam is about the new kid in town who is very outgoing and friendly. One day, Sam follows the giant's footprints only to find an extremely shy Bigsby. Sam and Bigsby become best friends while Bigsby learns the power of a great friendship. It's a super cute story that any child is sure to enjoy!     I think it is good because they encourage children to listen to the story and maybe learn how to read it themselves.

    These books can be heard over and over again, and the buddies encourage the children in a fun way to read.

    Wow, I really love how they actually interact with the story! My son would love to sit and listen to a story with the storybook buddy!

Your opinion may vary from mine.** Herbal Essence has a new collection out called the Naked Collection Volume. Obviously I was intrigued by this because naked to me means no crazy chemicals and my hair loves products like those. I used to have very thick and healthy hair but it has thinned out dramatically since I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease over 5 years ago.
