Secure Your Computer from threats with VIPRE Internet Security

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Vipre for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
VIPRE Internet Security is an award winning antivirus software that includes a firewall, website blocking, and a spam filter; making it the complete solution to your internet security needs. VIPRE is the ONLY antivirus software with automatic software patching for out of date programs like Java, Windows, Adobe, Skype, and iTunes. Out of date programs like those are the most common cause of PC viruses. VIPRE Internet Security also comes with free US web based support!
Installation of VIPRE Internet Security is simple; just make sure to uninstall all other anti-virus software before hand so you don't harm your computer. For me, uninstalling the old software was more difficult than installing VIPRE! Apparently, I had two different programs on my computer for internet security, one I had no clue about. VIPRE Internet Security scans your computer for other anti-virus programs be fore installing so you have the option to remove them. Remember, removing all other programs is highly advised.
The best thing I've noticed about having VIPRE on my computer is that it doesn't slow everything down like other programs. I am such an impatient person so when I have to wait forever for something to load, I get really grumpy. I love that since uninstalling the old software and installing VIPRE, my computer is actually running better! Another thing I really like about VIPRE Internet Security is that there's the option of doing a rapid scan, deep scan, and custom scan. I understand that most programs have this but I've never had an anti-virus program remove a huge threat within minutes, one that my other software never detected.
If you want the best PC protection out there without slowing down your computer, I encourage you to try out VIPRE.

Fall Apple Festival Giveaway

Have you heard the news? It's apple season here in the United States! If you are someone who loves apples and apple desserts, this is the time to pick fresh apples from your local orchard. If you live in Ohio, apples are priced higher this year from lack of supply due to weird weather. If you are a Pinterest addict like us, discounted apples (not in Ohio) also means you can try all the delicious apple recipes being pinned without spending a small fortune on apples!
To celebrate the start of the Apple Season, Budget Earth and Mew Review are having their own Fall Apple Festival and you are invited! All of your favorite blogs are pitching in to offer our readers some awesome apple themed prizes, like a Collector's Edition of Apples to Apples AND an Apple Scented Soy Candle! While we may not be able to give all of our readers free hayrides and homemade treats, we hope you do enjoy our small festival! To learn more about this family game, check out Mew Review's review of Apples…

Product Review for Pretzilla Pretzel Buns

So a couple of weeks ago my family and I decided to take a trip up to Whole Foods since we've never been to one and the only organic grocery store around here doesn't have a huge selection. We're walking through checking everything out and I came across these yummy looking soft pretzel buns. I have to say, the packaging is what really caught my eye but then I realized the buns didn't have salt on them so I was even more intrigued. We bought one package of the burger buns even though they were on sale 2 for $7. Two days later we decide to check them out. It wasn't until we had our sandwiches made that we realized they were moldy. We were completely bummed because this was something we've never tried before.

I went ahead and e-mailed the company Pretzilla to inform them of the mold, mind you it was the Saturday of memorial day weekend. I wasn't expecting a reply until at least Tuesday, but to my surprise, I was contacted back the following morning. The comp…

Rent College Textbooks and Save Up to 80%!

This is a "sponsored post." The company who sponsored it compensated me via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value.

I recently went back to college to work on my Bachelor of Science degree for Nutrition. It's been about 7 years since I've had to purchase college textbooks and let me tell you, the prices have gone up dramatically! I registered for a Sociology class but had to drop it because I couldn't afford the book which was $239! That's outrageous!  I understand that I could always sell the book back to the school at the end of the semester, but, you and I both know that the colleges only offer you a fraction of what you paid. Plus, there was no way I could afford that book on top of my $200 Statistics book, graphing calculator, and two other textbooks needed for classes.  I like to save as much money as possible, especially on things I'll only be using for a short time. This is exactly why I'm using Campusbookrentals.com for the other two …
