Sephora's Hot Picks for Fall

**I received this item for the purpose of a review. I was in no way compensated for my opinion as they are my own. Your opinion may vary from mine.**
Fall is my favorite season and with it comes my favorite trends, recipes, festivals, and make-up. Sephora has some really nice new fall inspired products that will match just about any outfit or style. I recently had the opportunity to check out some of these new products from Sephora and I am completely over the moon for them.

Sephora's Hot Picks for Fall
First up, Kat Von D's Lock-it Powder Foundation in light 48. Kat Von D's Lock-it Powder Foundation is a 24-hour, long lasting, medium to full coverage pressed powder foundation that helps to even out skin tone and hide imperfections. It really works! At first I really didn't think it could cover the imperfections of my face because most pressed powder foundations just don't work for me. Kat Von D's Lock-it Powder Foundation actually worked and it didn't feel like I had a ton of make-up caked on my face. I Love it! Kat Von D's Lock-it Powder Foundation is transfer-resistant and completely free of paraffin, paraben, fragrance, and mineral oil.
Next up, Sephora Collection Long Lasting Vinyl Lip Lacquer in Provocative Red. Sephora Collection Long Lasting Vinyl Lip Lacquer is an ultra-pigmented long lasting lip color that is formulated with Vitamin E to protect and soften lips. This long lasting lip color leaves my lips feeling silky and smooth while having gorgeous intense color that stays for hours. I'm really not into lip products much but I loved the color and feel of Provocative Red. It made me feel bold and fearless! Sephora Collection Long Lasting Vinyl Lip Lacquer can also be purchased in Provocative Burgundy.

Sephora + Pantone Universe Elemental Energy is up next and these are some of my favorite products form Sephora's Hot Picks for Fall. Sephora + Pantone Universe Elemental Energy limited edition fall 2013 color collection portrays the immense energy of nature's elements like Earth, Water, Fire, and Air. Elemental Energy is inspired by the different surfaces and natural landscapes that emerge during shifting climates.
Above is Sephora + Pantone Universe Elemental Energy Lacquers in Blanc De Blanc and Confetti. Blanc De Blanc is meant to represent shimmering water while Confetti represents the Earth with chrome effects. I'm in love with Confetti; it's a gorgeous matte color that goes on really smooth. The Blanc De Blanc does a wonderful job of highlighting Confetti and making it pop when applied on top. I can't decide if I'm more obsessed with the color or quality of the Sephora + Pantone Universe Elemental Energy Lacquer. Either way, it's amazing! Sephora + Pantone Universe Elemental Energy Lacquers can be purchased in Fire and Water as well as Earth and Air.
The Sephora + Pantone Universe Elemental Energy Eye Shadow Palette (below) is inspired by the color tones of the four elements Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. Each group of four shades are embossed with icons to denote the four elements. Sephora + Pantone Universe Elemental Energy Eye Shadow Palette contains 16 gorgeous, saturated shades with a mix of semi-matte, shimmer, and glitter finishes.
Earth is made up of the colors Pebble, Emerald, Ginger Snap, and Rawhide.
Air is grouped with the colors Murmur, Mushroom, Sea Fog, and Nutmeg.
Fire is grouped with the colors Dawn, Potter's Clay, Crab-apple, and Aztec.
Water is grouped with the colors Blue Fog, Iron, Cendre Blue, and Teal Blue.
The Sephora + Pantone Universe Elemental Energy Eyeshadow Palette has very high concentrations of color that provides long wear and gorgeous shades. I love, love, LOVE this palette. My favorite shades are the Air shades but I honestly love all of the colors and how soft the eyeshadows are. The Sephora + Pantone Universe Elemental Energy Eye Shadow Palette eye shadows are kept in a gorgeous magnetic compact that makes it easy for travel.
Last but not least we have the Classic Must Have Angled Brush. I just love how soft and sturdy this brush is. It makes it very easy to apply blush without over doing it.

All of these high quality products can be purchased online or in Sephora stores and some are only for a limited time so make sure you get there fast! Kat Von D's Lock-it Powder Foundation can be purchased for $34, the Sephora Collection Long Lasting Vinyl Lip Lacquer can be purchased for $14, Sephora + Pantone Universe Elemental Energy Lacquers can be purchased for $10 a piece, the Sephora + Pantone Universe Elemental Energy Eye Shadow Palette can be purchased for $38, and the Classic Must Have Angled Brush can be purchased for $28.

Make sure to check out all the other Hot Picks for Fall from Sephora before it's too late. I highly recommend the Sephora + Pantone Universe Elemental Energy products as they were my favorites.
Come back and tell me which ones you think you would like best!

Life has been anything but normal lately, in fact it's been nothing short of hectic! I went back to work in the service industry, my daughter turned 2 years old (help me), I got an amazing new job (big girl panties are on now!), turned 30 years old, my grandfather (the man who raised me and who is my best friend) was diagnosed with Cancer, we almost lost one of our dogs to a deadly infection (I'll explain that later), and my fiance' and I are finally going to take the plunge and get married! Holy crap, reading all that back just made me tired! Anyway, I really wanted to get back into blogging before my one year blogiversary, so to jump start this I thought we'd celebrate all the good that has happened lately. Herbal Essence Naked Volume Collection

**I received this item for the purpose of a review. I was in no way compensated for my opinion as they are my own. Your opinion may vary from mine.** Herbal Essence has a new collection out called the Naked Collection Volume. Obviously I was intrigued by this because naked to me means no crazy chemicals and my hair loves products like those. I used to have very thick and healthy hair but it has thinned out dramatically since I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease over 5 years ago. Nowadays, my hair is very picky about the products I use. I wouldn't say it's damaged, it actually looks and feels pretty healthy, but it goes flat and becomes greasy quick because of how thin it is. Because of the autoimmune disease I have, I like to watch what kind of chemicals my body comes in contact with. Anything is mess up the balance in a compromised immune system. Needless to say, I was excited to learn more about the Naked Volume Collection by Herbal Essence.  The naked Naked
