Who's behind Squashie-Dipity?

About Sasha

I am the mother of a beautiful 2 year old daughter. My family also consists of my workaholic Fiancée Ed and our 4 silly rescue dogs Karma, Rocky, Babe, and Cisco.

I am a general product reviewer that focuses mostly on the things I love. I always like to be the first person to try the newest and best products out there and when I find something interesting, I get super excited. Anytime I get excited about a product I make sure everyone knows and gets a chance to share in my excitement. The best part of what I do is having the option and chance to find the healthiest products out there for my little girl. Every mother wants what's best for her children and I am no exception. Some even say that I'm a little overprotective and obsessed with keeping my daughter safe, healthy, and happy.
Outside of my blog I enjoy baking, cooking, reading, Geo-caching, sleeping (because it's very hard to get any sleep these days), and shopping. I am a hardcore foodie if you can even consider being a foodie hardcore. I am an extreme germaphobe but not so much a neat freak. I have an obsession with my hair, the color purple, shoes, Capri's, movies, reality TV, mascara, nail polish, eye shadow, jewelry, football, coffee, energy drinks, and ice cream. I also collect magnets and cool drinking glasses from different places. If you were to ever run into me in public you would always see me carrying around something with caffeine in it and my cell phone.
I love meeting new people and always enjoy a good conversation! Feel free to tell me a little about yourself in the comments, just be sure it's family friendly.

About Amanda

I am the mother of two beautiful daughters ages two and 3 months. My boyfriend Virgil is a disabled techie and spends most of his time teaching our oldest how to take apart and rebuild electronics (much to my dismay).

I am generally new to the blogging world, but I want to focus on cosmetic product reviews as well as healthy living. Good cosmetics can be expensive and it’s just a shame to waste money on things that you don’t like. I should know I’ve gotten many products and absolutely hated them. Healthy living is especially important to me. As someone that is living with an Autoimmune disease, I have to be very careful with what I eat and use to prevent flair ups. My long term boyfriend is also battling thyroid cancer (which I’m convinced was caused by eating nothing but Slim Jims and pizza rolls for ten years). I love that I get to try many new and interesting things that are beneficial to all members of our family.

In my limited free time I love to read, write, play video games, go for walks, swim, dance, and enjoy all different kinds of music. My daughters are my whole world and I love being able to teach them about my likes and activities to give them a well rounded view on life. One of my passions has always been activism. In fact, I was a social work major with a minor in women’s studies before I got sick. One day I hope to return to school and finish my degree.

I’m not your typical mother. One day I might feel earthy and put on a peasant dress and run around barefoot. The next, I may feel like lacing up my corsets and stomping around in my platform boots. Some days, I feel like channeling my inner classy lady by prancing around in heels and a 1950’s party dress. I’m very eclectic.

I always love feedback, good or bad so long as it’s constructive.

Herbal Essence Naked Volume Collection

**I received this item for the purpose of a review. I was in no way compensated for my opinion as they are my own. Your opinion may vary from mine.** Herbal Essence has a new collection out called the Naked Collection Volume. Obviously I was intrigued by this because naked to me means no crazy chemicals and my hair loves products like those. I used to have very thick and healthy hair but it has thinned out dramatically since I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease over 5 years ago. Nowadays, my hair is very picky about the products I use. I wouldn't say it's damaged, it actually looks and feels pretty healthy, but it goes flat and becomes greasy quick because of how thin it is. Because of the autoimmune disease I have, I like to watch what kind of chemicals my body comes in contact with. Anything is mess up the balance in a compromised immune system. Needless to say, I was excited to learn more about the Naked Volume Collection by Herbal Essence.  The naked Naked
