Mmmm... RW Garcia PR & Giveaway

***I recieved this item for the purpose of a review. All opinions are my own and I was not compensated for this review. Your opinion may vary from mine.***

RW Garcia makes delicious, all-natural tortilla chips and gluten free crackers. Great for dipping or eating right out of the bag, our chips and crackers are made from the finest ingredients and come in a wide variety of gourmet flavors. From our Classic Yellow Corn to our Special Recipe Veggie, RW Garcia chips are the hit of any get together. Snack healthy.

At RW Garcia, we're changing the way people snack with a simple philosophy: great tasting can be good for you. We pride ourselves on producing surprising, delicious combinations of corn and other natural ingredients to create fun, healthy foods. We make our tortilla chips from the finest, all-natural ingredients including organic and stone ground non-GMO corn and seasonings that contain no additives or preservatives. All our chips are wheat free, and most are also gluten free. So you can snack guilt free.

I sure hope so because the first night I tried RW Garcia, a friend and I ate a whole bag of the 3 Seed Veggie Dippers with Hummus. They were so good that we couldn't put them down. The following night we cracked open the MIXITBAG of tortilla chips and they were just as good. The MIXITBAG's are available in two varieties, Yellow and Blue corn tortilla chips and Yellow and Red corn tortilla chips. Out of all their products my favorite would have to be the 3 Seed Dippers. The Dippers are perfect for just about any kind of dip, they taste great, and they're available in four different varieties. The only thing that I didn't get to but would love to try is the Veggie Tortilla Chips. My mouth is just drooling at the thought of them!

At RW Garcia, we're committed to sustainability. Not only do we want to make the world's best and healthiest snacks, we also want to make the world a little better place to snack in. The corn we buy that does not get processed into finished goods is donated either to cattle farmers or to pet food manufacturers. We use 100% of the cooking oil we buy. Nothing is wasted.
Our policy on Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) is to adhere to both U.S. and European Union standards. As equipment is updated, replaced, or modified, we send all scrap metal to recyclers. All excess cardboard is also sent to recyclers. We conserve energy wherever possible. All unnecessary lighting has been removed from warehouse and production areas. All office equipment is turned off at night, including computers, monitors and any device that has a standby or sleep mode.

Anyone who tries to make the world a better and cleaner place is okay in my book and I can't wait to add RW Garcia products to my shopping list and pantry for good! Find a RW Garcia retailer HERE and buy some up quick! Trust me; you'll be so happy you did!

Fall Apple Festival Giveaway

Have you heard the news? It's apple season here in the United States! If you are someone who loves apples and apple desserts, this is the time to pick fresh apples from your local orchard. If you live in Ohio, apples are priced higher this year from lack of supply due to weird weather. If you are a Pinterest addict like us, discounted apples (not in Ohio) also means you can try all the delicious apple recipes being pinned without spending a small fortune on apples!
To celebrate the start of the Apple Season, Budget Earth and Mew Review are having their own Fall Apple Festival and you are invited! All of your favorite blogs are pitching in to offer our readers some awesome apple themed prizes, like a Collector's Edition of Apples to Apples AND an Apple Scented Soy Candle! While we may not be able to give all of our readers free hayrides and homemade treats, we hope you do enjoy our small festival! To learn more about this family game, check out Mew Review's review of Apples…

Product Review for Pretzilla Pretzel Buns

So a couple of weeks ago my family and I decided to take a trip up to Whole Foods since we've never been to one and the only organic grocery store around here doesn't have a huge selection. We're walking through checking everything out and I came across these yummy looking soft pretzel buns. I have to say, the packaging is what really caught my eye but then I realized the buns didn't have salt on them so I was even more intrigued. We bought one package of the burger buns even though they were on sale 2 for $7. Two days later we decide to check them out. It wasn't until we had our sandwiches made that we realized they were moldy. We were completely bummed because this was something we've never tried before.

I went ahead and e-mailed the company Pretzilla to inform them of the mold, mind you it was the Saturday of memorial day weekend. I wasn't expecting a reply until at least Tuesday, but to my surprise, I was contacted back the following morning. The comp…

Rent College Textbooks and Save Up to 80%!

This is a "sponsored post." The company who sponsored it compensated me via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value.

I recently went back to college to work on my Bachelor of Science degree for Nutrition. It's been about 7 years since I've had to purchase college textbooks and let me tell you, the prices have gone up dramatically! I registered for a Sociology class but had to drop it because I couldn't afford the book which was $239! That's outrageous!  I understand that I could always sell the book back to the school at the end of the semester, but, you and I both know that the colleges only offer you a fraction of what you paid. Plus, there was no way I could afford that book on top of my $200 Statistics book, graphing calculator, and two other textbooks needed for classes.  I like to save as much money as possible, especially on things I'll only be using for a short time. This is exactly why I'm using for the other two …
