True Citrus Keeps You True!

True Citrus makes an amazing variety of Citrus Flavoring products for just about anything and all of their products are made from natural ingredients. True Citrus products come from fresh fruit that is cold-pressed and crystallized to lock in flavor. True Lemon, Orange, and Grapefruit all have zero calories, sugar, and carbs with 25% Vitamin C in every serving. The True Lemonade, Raspberry Lemonade, and Lemon Tea all have a measly 5 calories, 1 gram of sugar and zero carbs!
When it comes to drinks that have no real sugar, I am not normally a fan. I hate the aftertaste of beverages like Crystal Light and Diet Soda and find them quite disgusting, but True Citrus is anything but disgusting. There was no weird aftertaste and the beverages were all pretty refreshing. The True Orange was my favorite! Anything with orange is usually a favorite of mine since I can't drink regular orange juice and True Orange hit the spot!
You may think that True Citrus only makes products for beverages but you are completely mistaken. True Citrus makes True Lemon, Lime, and Orange in a convenient spice type shaker for cooking and baking as well. I can honestly say that I was shocked to find out that True Citrus could be used for baking and cooking but if you look on their website they have hundreds of recipes that call for their products! Amazing! Some recipes include guacamole, True Lime Chex Chow, True Raspberry Lemonade Sugar Cookies, pasta dishes, marinades, smoothies, and the list goes on. I haven't gotten a chance to try any of their recipes out since our household has been extremely hectic lately but I definitely will be.
All of the True Citrus products for baking, cooking, and drinking like orange, lemon, and lime are gluten free,  have no calories, carbs, sugar, fat, preservatives, artificial colors, and sodium. If you're looking for a good replacement for your normal sugary beverages or salted foods (True Lemon or Lime works great for replacing salt), look no further! Get to your nearest grocery store and pick up some True Citrus products; I would highly recommend doing so. If your local grocery store doesn't carry True Citrus, be sure to check out their store locator or purchase the products directly from their online store. Connect with True Citrus on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest for the latest recipes and promotions!

Fall Apple Festival Giveaway

Have you heard the news? It's apple season here in the United States! If you are someone who loves apples and apple desserts, this is the time to pick fresh apples from your local orchard. If you live in Ohio, apples are priced higher this year from lack of supply due to weird weather. If you are a Pinterest addict like us, discounted apples (not in Ohio) also means you can try all the delicious apple recipes being pinned without spending a small fortune on apples!
To celebrate the start of the Apple Season, Budget Earth and Mew Review are having their own Fall Apple Festival and you are invited! All of your favorite blogs are pitching in to offer our readers some awesome apple themed prizes, like a Collector's Edition of Apples to Apples AND an Apple Scented Soy Candle! While we may not be able to give all of our readers free hayrides and homemade treats, we hope you do enjoy our small festival! To learn more about this family game, check out Mew Review's review of Apples…

Rent College Textbooks and Save Up to 80%!

This is a "sponsored post." The company who sponsored it compensated me via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value.

I recently went back to college to work on my Bachelor of Science degree for Nutrition. It's been about 7 years since I've had to purchase college textbooks and let me tell you, the prices have gone up dramatically! I registered for a Sociology class but had to drop it because I couldn't afford the book which was $239! That's outrageous!  I understand that I could always sell the book back to the school at the end of the semester, but, you and I both know that the colleges only offer you a fraction of what you paid. Plus, there was no way I could afford that book on top of my $200 Statistics book, graphing calculator, and two other textbooks needed for classes.  I like to save as much money as possible, especially on things I'll only be using for a short time. This is exactly why I'm using Campusbookrentals.com for the other two …
