I had no idea they did this EVERYDAY! With that being said, yesterday, my fiancé and went to Best Buy to check out their mobile store and Trade Up program. We usually just give our daughter the old cell phones to play with but I never really thought about trading them in before now. 

When we first walked in, I was a bit confused because normally when I need to do something that concerns my mobile device, I just go to Verizon. Walking into a Best Buy Mobile store is a lot different. They have phones and plans for every major carrier and so many cool accessories, it's unreal. We were immediately taken care of by a man named Donté; whom my daughter loved! I told him about my Samsung Charge that was only used for a few weeks and asked about trading it in and using the credit towards a new phone for my fiancé (Donté and I FINALLY talked my fiancé into getting hip with a smartphone, which he previously refused to do). 

Trading my phone up was super easy to do and it only took a few minutes. My Samsung Charge was in perfect condition but I held onto it for too long because it's trade in value ended up only being $21. Better than it sitting around I guess! Donté asked if we would like to use the credit towards the new device which we obliged. Unfortunately our time got cut short because of a family emergency so we had to leave quickly. Donté gave us our credit in the form of a Best Buy gift card and said he would have everything written up and ready for us for when we had a chance to finish up the switch to a new phone. 

 Like I said before, I normally just got to Verizon for all my mobile needs but I'd  I'd much rather trade in my phone at a Best Buy Mobile store from now on. The staff is friendlier and more personable (Donté gave our daughter a fake phone to keep her occupied and held conversations with her throughout the whole experience), the accessories are out of this world with so much to choose from, and the highly trained staff can do anything a Verizon associate can from transferring contacts and pictures, to troubleshooting and checking for mobile updates.  Being able to Trade Up your old mobile device for a Best Buy gift card doesn't hurt either! What a great experience we had at Best Buy Mobile; Thanks Donté and store 243!
