Save, Spend, and Share with Moonjar

In 2001 Eulalie Scandiuzzi, a Seattle Native, created Moonjar LLC to help teach children the financial value of saving, spending, and sharing their own money. The name Moonjar came from the idea of “Shooting for the Moon”, creating big dreams, and the ancient custom of placing hopes and dreams in a jar. Moonjar's belief is that children should be taught financial values at an early age by teaching them the practices of saving, spending, and sharing. all of Moonjar's products are made from recycled materials.
Anniversary Edition Moonjar
I think this is a really awesome idea since I never really grasped the concept of saving my money until I was already in debt. I was always spending and sharing but never saving so I'd love for my daughter to learn some financial values before she ends up in a horrible rut like I was. I have been pretty spoiled my whole life and even though my daughter is as well, I know now what to watch for to ensure she spends her money wisely and saves her money considerably. The Moonjar will give me that extra tool to help teach her the value's of spending, saving, and sharing.
Moonjar Sections
The Moonjar we received for the Holiday Gift Guide is their tenth anniversary Moonjar. Each metallic section has been loaded with the words "Spend, Share, and Save" in languages from around the world. The design is extremely cute while the Moonjar itself seems sturdy enough to last through the years. My daughter loves to put money in her piggy jar so of course she was just smitten by her new Moonjar. If you are looking for a good gift for a child that also has a purpose, I would highly recommend checking out Moonjar's products. They offer a few different designs to choose from and for $28.00 it's a small price to pay your child's lifetime of financial values.

Herbal Essence Naked Volume Collection

**I received this item for the purpose of a review. I was in no way compensated for my opinion as they are my own. Your opinion may vary from mine.** Herbal Essence has a new collection out called the Naked Collection Volume. Obviously I was intrigued by this because naked to me means no crazy chemicals and my hair loves products like those. I used to have very thick and healthy hair but it has thinned out dramatically since I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease over 5 years ago. Nowadays, my hair is very picky about the products I use. I wouldn't say it's damaged, it actually looks and feels pretty healthy, but it goes flat and becomes greasy quick because of how thin it is. Because of the autoimmune disease I have, I like to watch what kind of chemicals my body comes in contact with. Anything is mess up the balance in a compromised immune system. Needless to say, I was excited to learn more about the Naked Volume Collection by Herbal Essence.  The naked Naked
